Won Bin's acting is superb in this film and
he plays a very good Crusader-Type.
Here's the info from Wiki on the film which in Mind Control Terms mostly tells you that Won Bin's Character named ''Cha Tae-sik'' was in the Korean Military and was in a special program which very few live from coming out of because of how deadly it is (Meaning he was really Mk'd).
After being in dropping out of the military because of the murder of his pregnant wife, he gets very isolated, but when a little girl named ''So-Mi'' played by actress Kim Sae-ron is kidnaped along with her mother (Hyo-Jeong) (Who's a Heroine Addict and Alcoholic) which breaks Cha out of his isolated and makes him switch back into the deadly skills he learned from being in the Military.
As he goes on a killing spree, killing evil drug dealers and twisted S.O.B.'s that take kids eyes and organs out then sells them for money+makes the kids work and make Heroine, Crack, and Cocaine etc. all for So-Mi.
BTW parents this is not a P.G. film, it is very gory and you should not let your kids watch this, that's why it's rated ''R''.
I like the film because it shows us how twisted and evil Foreigns are (Not that the U.S. isn't as sick and twisted considering they let soft porn on TV these days etc.).
It's a great film, with great martial arts as well....I was surprised how well
it was filmed and made, especially how it was based on the
truth....Won does kiss ass tho....say a couple of alcohol adverts have had
done....totally un-cool.
